Just wanted to thank you for moving up my service appointment for no heat from Friday morning to yesterday afternoon, especially since it was such a busy day for you folks. The woman who called to do this had a wonderful presence on the phone. Bill, the repair guy, was friendly, found the problem right away, showed us what it was (clogged trap) and how to prevent it in the future. I really appreciate the top-notch service we received.

The recent severe cold weather caused our previous supplier to not deliver propane when needed, and we had no heat for 5 days. Long Energy came to our rescue in a very professional manner…and I appreciate the fact that this was done during a very demanding time for your company as well.

Dear Folks at Long Energy,
Thanks you so much for your immediate attention to my problem. On Friday I called in late morning to report a problem I believed I was having with my air conditioning system. In just a couple hours help arrived. He set to work checking out my unit and explained everything he was doing as he went along. He impressed me as being very competent in addition to his being very polite. You are fortunate to have such a nice young man working for you.

I just had my furnace serviced by your company and just wanted to talk about the technician who serviced it. This man was knowledgeable, courteous and explained what he was going to do and why. HE is a credit to your team and should be recognized for doing his job and more to please your clients. He had a bad day (van would not start when he was done) but never complained, just waited in my driveway to fix the problem. He even brought my empty trash cans back in from the side of the road after they were emptied! Thanks for all you do!

I would like to acknowledge your employees. Friday they came to my home and installed a new furnace. In today’s society it’s rare to find people who enjoy their job and can interact well with customers! I found the guys to be friendly and very personable throughout the day. It would be my pleasure to recommend your company to anyone needing an install or any type of service work. One happy customer!

We are very pleased with the installation of the Central A/C and new furnace. Yesterday’s sticky weather was a perfect test for the system. We set it at 70 degrees for now, and the temperature sits right there so far. And no sticky humidity in the house. We don’t know how we got through all the years without central a/c. We had a portable unit for the last few years but the central a/c is a major improvement over that. And the upstairs seems comfortable too. The men were all very pleasant and did a good job. They explained things very well as they went along. Please feel free to share our positive feedback.

Dear Bob Long, Sr & Bob Long, Jr,

My wife and I recently had our heating duct work in our home replaced by two of your technicians Jason and Patrick. What a tremendous job they did! Our old home was built in stages beginning in 1939 and into the early 1940s. As you might expect, nothing in the basement is square and not much is level. The original duct work was a ‘cut-job’ that was patched and taped together over the years. Jason and Patrick did a great job customizing the duct work to fit. They had to very creative in their design and implementation and they were! My wife and I are very grateful to Jason and Patrick for their expertise, their hard work and their long hours. They were always very personable and professional. We are also grateful to you and your company! I can see why my Dad and Mom had you and your company as their heating specialists back in the 1960s when I was growing up.

I also want to say thank a very special thank you to Art Goedeke! He helped us from the beginning to the end. We can’t thank you enough for Art! His expertise and experience in the field is invaluable! He was always there to help us: the time he spent explaining to me how to remove the old asbestos duct work, the design he put together for the new duct work system, the overseeing of the implementation of the new duct work and the follow-up to make sure it was a quality job. He is a great representative of your company!

We have had a 15-year service and installation history with Long Energy. In that time they have done all of our annual gas boiler inspections, cleanings, and parts replacements (expansion tanks, thermostats, etc.), installed a mini-split A/C unit, capped off an unused gas line, done extensive plumbing upgrades, and removed and replaced old original galvanized piping. Every technician who has been at our house has been top notch; every job is done with the greatest professionalism and attention to detail. I have talked with many other homeowners in my neighborhood about their HVAC experiences and have always pointed them to Long Energy. With so much mediocrity in service industries these days, it is comforting to know that in every way, Long Energy sticks to the basics: do the job right and customers will come back again and again.

Dear Mr. Long,
I wanted you to be aware of the excellent service I received from your service department at my home last Friday. I called at about 8:30 AM about a defective hot water heater that probably should be replaced. By 4:00 the same day I had a new water heater and hot water flowing. Service handled my problem quickly and efficiently, with good humor. I could enjoy a hot shower and warm dish water for the weekend. This is an extraordinary performance by a number of your employees on short notice to give the customer service. In all my dealing with Long Energy, I’ve received the same friendly efficient service over the past eleven years. Propane delivery, replacement furnace installation, a new generator and a superb air-conditioning setup have brought me the best – fast, friendly and effective results Long Energy produces.
